I recently met someone who had heartache and was looked after by the wonderful team at Royal Papworth Hospital. He told me that the All I need today is a little bit of Harry Potter and a whole lot of Jesus shirt has spikes at Christmas with middle-aged women being admitted with heart attacks. This is a fact. We wrote letters to a kid with cancer. My letter read “it’s a bumpy road but soon u will have a straight path.” People didnt realize it was meant for his heart monitor.
It is true, it happened to me, symptoms can be ignored even in the hospital. I was having a heart attack but not blue lighted to A&E as not in that much pain. Arrived at hospital, not taken to Jesus just majors. Had the blood test, troponin present but lower amount so “we’ll do another blood test in 3 hours”. Ignored for the All I need today is a little bit of Harry Potter and a whole lot of Jesus shirt of the night despite high heart rate and cardiologist not called. At 0730 a cardiologist came to majors and said Mrs. Townsend has been having a heart attack ALL night.
I ignored mine from 3.15 in the All I need today is a little bit of Harry Potter and a whole lot of Jesus shirt till 07.00 the next day. Called up the referral. An ambulance came in 5 mins and was in freeman and stented within 15 mins. Ambulance people saved my life. I didn’t even think about it being a heart attack. My symptoms were a burning sensation at the top of my arms and traveling up into my neck, when I stopped walking or climbing the stairs it stopped, went to the Dr and asked if he could make sense of these sensations I was having, and without hesitation he had me in an ambulance to hospital,I had a double bypass and that was 6 years ago,I had no chest pain as most people would expect!
